  7. Alright, whoever is reading this. You have gotten hold of something
  8. precious. No, not moneywise. But precious anyway, at least, to me.

  10. Port is a program which I coded in assembler. Port is a program to convert
  11. and optimize text-files. A very clever one at that, if I might add.
  12.  
  13. It's a program that was developed with great devotion and love. Take a look
  14. at the history file, you'll see.

  16. It's probably the longest coding effort I have ever done.

  19. The source-code is beautiful, lots of commenting, clear and so on.. And the
  20. code itself is very good, I never heard of any but most, most minor bugs
  21. after releasing the binary, long time ago.

  23. But the work which I put into releasing a perfect Port V2.00, apparently
  24. burned me out. I never coded a byte of Port afterwards.

  27. As I said, it is a precious piece of code. But my time at coding it has
  28. passed. What a waste it is to hold to myself, things being that way. So I'm
  29. releasing it, on the hope that someone will like it enough to continue it.
  30. I grant all rights to the source-code included, as long anything derived
  31. from it is released either as freeware or PD.
